There’s a bunch of people I’ve mostly only met on zoom. They are pretty cool people. They think deeply. They act ferociously. They feel endlessly.
They think like me. But not.
They do the same work as me. But slightly different
They have the same dreams as me. But in a different colour.
I join the zooms with a head full of my day, still lingering with tasks for tomorrow. I leave with energy to burn. My fingers want to play on the keyboard, write things down, make stuff, solve problems. Just do stuff…
These are the people that drive my edu-soul. They are honorary members of my ‘hug circle’. When we all meet. I will hug them. Promise.
They are different to my weekend people. My family people. My Ukulele people. My Choir people. They are just as important though. They fill my edu-cup.
Who are your people? Who ignites your edu-soul and fires you up for a year of tomorrows? Find them. Talk with them. Meet them. Acknowledge them. Hug them. Thank them.
